Ramblings and Readings During a Stressful Week

The last couple of weeks have been unusually stressful due to family situations, traveling, and dealing with uncooperative symptoms and medications. Not to mention the continue sleep deprivation and its own challenges. All the while continuing to work on my book.  I would like to share a combination of readings and ramblings you may hopefully derive some value from reading.

Reflective thoughts this morning.
  • Be one whose life is filled with love and beauty;
  • Be grateful for each experience in one's life;
  • Be divinely guided and protected;
  • Be excited to be alive;
  • Believe all things are possible;
  • Be loved and love;
  • Be happy, share the universal greeting card with everyone, a smile;
  • Be one who makes a difference in this world.
The following include a combination of quotes and comments from my recent morning readings.

Dealing with the perceptions of scarcity vs. abundance in America, "It's not what is available or unavailable that determines your level of success and happiness; it's what you CONVINCE yourself is TRUE." ~ Dr. Wayne Dyer.  My observations, scarcity is not the problem. Over abundance of opportunity and lack of decisive ACTION are the problem. "Abundance is NOT something we acquire. It is something we tune into. There's NO scarcity of opportunity to make a living at what YOU love. There is only a scarcity of RESOLVE to make it happen." ~ Wayne Dyer. "Not what we have but what we ENJOY constitutes our abundance." ~ John Petit-Senn.

Never Question Your Impact! "There comes a time in every person's life when a decision is required. And that decision, should you make it, will have a far-reaching effect on generations yet unborn. There is a thin thread that weaves only from you to hundreds of thousands of lives. Your example, your actions, and yes, even one decision can literally change the world."~ David Ponder. Life is challenging and a game where nothing is less important than the score at halftime. I guess the tragedy is not that man loses, but that he ALMOST wins. The difference is distress and calamity produce the greatest men. The hardest steel comes from the hottest fire and the brightest star shreds the darkest night. It's a fine line between ordinary and EXTRA ordinary.

People are constantly looking for themselves everywhere but the most obvious location.  All that is necessary for change and happiness in their lives is to start by looking within.  "We cannot become what we NEED TO BE by remaining what we ARE." ~ Max Depree. "First SAY to yourself what you would BE and then DO what you have to DO." ~ Epictetus. Finally, none of the above can happen unless, "All our dreams can come true - if we have the courage to pursue them." ~ Walt Disney.

I hope this gives you pause to think and possibly look at things from a different perspective.  We never know what we don't know until someone takes the time to show us and we are open to the message.
